Moldovan judoka Mihail Latishev has delivered another impressive performance! After becoming the European vice-champion in Chișinău at the beginning of the month, Latishev won the silver medal at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in the United Arab Emirates.Competing in the 90-kilogram weight category, Latishev secured victory in four matches before reaching the final. In the decisive bout, he was defeated by Georgia’s Lasha Bekauri, a double Olympic champion.Latishev is the second Moldovan judoka to earn a medal at the Abu Dhabi tournament, following Victor Sterpu, who won the bronze medal in the 81-kilogram weight category.
